Floating Operators
As part of a Multi-POS operation, it's important that the operator's can move around the system easily. With Samtouch an operator can start a sale on one terminal and move across multiple terminals adding to the existing sale. Price Levels
Samtouch offers up to 6 different price levels per product. These can be used in many different scenarios from happy hour, customer loyalty price levels, trade customers etc. In addition, price levels can be scheduled to operate on different days and/or different times of the day to work in conjunction with your promotion.
Multiple Sizes
Dealing with multiple sizes as part of your inventory process can be a headache. Samtouch deals with this most effectively by offering multiple sizes and prices per product. Typically wine can be sold in 125ml, 175ml & 250ml measures so Samtouch allows you to factor in the relevant quantity to deduct stock accordingly.

Weighing Scales
Samtouch integrates to a number of CE approved weighing scales for processing sales transactions which include individually weighed produce. Weight embedded barcodes on items such as cheeses, cooked meats and other deli produce are also handled via barcode scanning.
Barcode Scanning
Samtouch product file is only limited by the capacity of your hard drive. Products can either be sold using PLU / sku code or barcodes. Using the manufacturers product barcode is the most efficient and secure way of selling product in store. Reduced shrinkage as the operator doesn't manually enter prices. Easier stock checks utilising hand held stocktaking devices. With Samtouch you create the product once and the product is ported to all terminals in store. Alternatively, use Samtouch Office to populate your product through all your stores.
Shelf Edge Labels
Presentation in-store is paramount to a succesful business. No more hours spent pricing each individual item. Samtouch integrates with Bixolon and Citizen label printers so that you can print shelf edge labels quickly and easily. Just print and tear the perforated roll and insert the new shelf edge label into your scanning rail. Thermal transfer print options available for outside labels such as garden centres etc.
Table Management
Samtouch offers a high level of functionality when it comes to Table Management. From graphic representation of table layout, split billing, table merging, tab transfers to table and all the functionality of table management you would expect. Samtouch can also be operated on Windows tablets for order at table operations. With up to 6 management files you can utilise these for different sections of your restaurant, room management or simple customer accounts.
Dynamic Screens
Spending time creating new products or specials? Samtouch "Dynamic Screen" feature takes the heartache out of adding new items to the keyboard. With "Dynamic Screens" all you need to do is create the product and Samtouch will automatically add it to the relevant product screen. So, if you have a new starter add the new product to the "starters" category and it will auto appear in the "Starters" screen.
Stock Count Down
The stock count down features provides the waiter/waitress with up to the second information about the number of menu items currently available. Ideally suited to higher value or limited menu items such as lobster and steaks etc. Once the count reaches zero then you have the option to not process anymore orders for that item. Stock count down should be up dated at the start of session to ensure accurate availablity.
The Exchange
The Drink Exchange turns a bar into a stock market for a night with a selection of food and drinks prices changing every 5 minutes based upon what customers are buying – and LIVE trading prices displayed on TV’s!
